I am looking into getting a hazmat endorsement, but I have a criminal record. What exactly will disqualify me?
The hazmat endorsement is one of the hardest to get. They will perform an extensive background check to make sure you meet all the minimum requirements. Here are just a few things that can disqualify you from receiving the endorsement:

Anything having to do with terrorism (for obvious reasons)
Murder
Treason
Robbery
Arson
Rape or sexual abuse
Assault with intent to murder

What happens if I lose my CDL?
First, you have to have your CDL to drive. There is no way around that. Also, you’ll need to report it to the police. They need to be aware in case someone finds it/stole it and is trying to take on your identity. To get another one, you will need to pay $11 and show proof of identity.

About how long will it take to finish the driving part of the test?
It roughly takes about an hour, but allot a little more than that—just in case. And remember that you will have a safety specialist with you, and you could either drive on public roads or at an off-road test site.

How much does it cost to renew my CDL?
It is going to be $15 each time your renew you CDL. Also, there is a $3 yearly renewal fee for your endorsements.

What are some of the endorsements I could get?
T: for pulling double or triple trailers.
N: driving a tank vehicle that carries liquids or liquid gases.
K: air brakes.
H: hazardous materials.

Am I going to have to pass a drug test before they will issue me a CDL?
Yes, you will need to be drug tested. And keep in mind that your employer has the right to conduct random drug tests during your employment.
